Device and products storage producer Stanley Black & Decker Inc. closed out 2020 with greater income and profit, benefiting from a surge in do-it-yourself assignments by consumers stuck at household in the coronavirus pandemic.

In the fourth quarter profit a lot more than doubled, to $458 million.

Loree mentioned he thinks do-it-on your own assignments will not decrease as the pandemic recedes.

“And frankly, I think when folks explore Do it yourself it tends to be fairly addictive, so I think that we’re likely to have a — it is a secular shift in my belief,” he explained. “I feel the dwelling heart CEOs would concur with that.
